Danum Homes has acquired the full 19 acre site from land promoter Richborough, which consists of outline consent for 120 homes and an expected GDV of £50m.

The East Riding development will be 25% affordable, with the development also including including a foodstore, and commercial and community space. As set out in the outline consent, the development is to have dedicated green space and pedestrian routes.

Harry Jackson, regional manager at Richborough, said: “We’re thrilled to have appointed Danum Homes to bring forward this high-quality mixed-use land, delivering much-needed new places to live and employment opportunities.

“Our multidisciplinary team and consultants have worked extremely hard to design and secure planning permission for this scheme, after the land was allocated in the East Riding Local Plan for housing and employment development.”

Danum managing director Steve Mosby said: “This site gives Danum Homes the opportunity to showcase its ability to deliver both residential and commercial units to the market.

“We are always actively looking for new opportunities to complement our existing pipeline, providing the quality and amenity we are known for. We look forward to progressing this development and delivering exceptionally high-quality, sustainable homes for the East Riding of Yorkshire. This purchase has cemented our working relationship with Richborough and we are looking forward to doing many more deals together into the future.”
